I’m a photographer based out of Houston and Austin, Texas. The first time I used a camera was in middle school and since then I have had an on and off relationship with photography. In my late teens and early twenties I worked for a portrait studio. I believe this is why I approach a lot of shoots like a portrait session. I eventually enlisted in the military and photography became a passion. While in the Air Force I would still take photos but Explosive Ordnance Disposal would eclipse everything in my world. When I left the EOD I picked up photography again but this time it was more like a hobby. I’m not sure if it was my culture, upbringing or ignorance but I did not see art as career; and photography is art. After many unhappy years in corporate America I decided to return to what made me happy. I enrolled in St. Edwards University’s Photocommunications Program and have this crazy idea for creating images and videos.
